The speakers and workshops are for you, the member.  If you have a favorite speaker, contact Vice President  and see if she can get them for 2019 or to fill in a spot this year.
No matter how long you have been quilting, you can always learn something new.  Workshops give us the opportunity to try a new technique and not invest a lot.  You can learn new ways to do things.  If you are new to quilting it is a great opportunity to not only learn from the workshop but from your fellow quilters.    Never stop learning!  It's also a great way to have a day of fun!

February 20 is Barn Quilt month with  Suzy Parron
She will share the history and visual trail of barn quilts across the US. She has written books with beautiful illustrations of barn quilts and will entertain us with a detailed view of the different quilts adorning barns across America.

February date? most likely 21:  Make a small barn quilt with Suzy Parron.  Sign up with Kathi Runan
You will create your very own Barn Quilt, a 24 x 24 piece of wood that you decorate with the quilt block of your choice, in colors you choose or cre-ate! Space is limited and interest is high, so sign up at the guild meeting in January. Total cost for this workshop is $65 which includes nearly all supplies. Just show up in clothes you don't mind getting a little paint on! A supply list (minimal) will be included at sign up. You won't want to miss this

Sign up for those workshops!
